Whoopi Goldberg’s Sanctimonious Twitter Exit Ends With Hilarious Mockery

Whoopi Goldberg declared Monday that she would be officially quitting Twitter as Elon Musk now owns the platform.
What did Goldberg actually say?

Goldberg spoke on “The View” and said that she deleted her Twitter account due to how “messy” the platform had become under Musk’s supervision.

Goldberg stated, “I’m getting up today because it’s so messy and I feel tired of having had certain attitudes blocked, which now they’re back on.”

She said, “I’m going to get out, and it will settle down enough for me to feel more comfortable, then maybe I’ll return.” “But as of tonight I’m done using Twitter.”

Goldberg later supported the notion that “some speech” was not “OK-free speech”, suggesting that Twitter and the government have an obligation to regulate Twitter’s content. She did, however, reiterate her decision to leave the platform.

“All speech cannot be free speech. Goldberg stated that some speech is not okay free speech. “You know what?” This is our problem. But it’s not mine today. I’m out!”

Dave Rubin’s content is free from big tech censorship. The Rubin Report is now available.
What was the reaction?

Her response reminds me of the old adage, “If a tree falls into a forest and nobody is around to hear it,”

People noted that Goldberg’s presence won’t be missed, even though they didn’t know she had one. Others celebrated Goldberg’s decision.

Richard Grenell, former U.S. ambassador, said “Thank You, @WhoopiGoldberg”.
Tim Pool, journalist mocked that “[P]eople were on Twitter only to follow the gentle thoughts of whoopi it all over now.”

“Whoopi Goldberg said she had quit Twitter due to Elon Musk. Terrance Williams, comedian, reacted by saying that Elon did a great job running away these insane entitled liberals.

“Whoopi Goldberg was on twitter?” Another person responded.

“I have never seen Whoopi Goldberg tweet. “I honestly didn’t know that she had an account,” said another person.
“Did she not also mention that she would be moving to Canada if Trump is elected president?” One person said, “I’m still waiting for this one.”

Goldberg kept her word and her account with over 1.6 million followers has been deactivated.
