Mayorkas’ Misguided Order: CBP Agents Told to Use Illegal Aliens’ Preferred Pronouns, Even if Incorrect

The headline above could’ve been written by our friends over at the satire site, The Babylon Bee. But, unfortunately, it’s an all-too-true heads-up about the latest idiotic policy of Team Biden — brought to us by none other than the serial-lying head of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas.

Biden’s border chief, a bumbling slobbery, is now ordering Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents to not use “incorrect idioms” when they meet illegal aliens who are streaming across the Southern Border. It’s classic Biden, isn’t it?

The people in charge of protecting our border are more concerned with “misgendering’ illegals rather than keeping them out of the country.

Is it possible that this is all a joke?

CBP has just issued documents that direct personnel to use only woke language in dealing with individuals who are invading America.

Priorities — Democrat style.

Mayorkas’s order to agents orders them to ignore the obvious biological differences in sexes and instead focus on an “illegal’s preferred gender identity”.

If you are having a long-term dialogue with a migrant, it might be appropriate to ask them what pronoun they prefer.

You could say, “I’d like to be respectful – what name and pronoun do you want me to use to address you?”

“Avoid asking, ‘What is the gender of your partner?’ unless it is operationally required.”

Do not:

You can use “he, him, or she” until you know more about the person.

The directive also instructs agents to “not refer to being LGBTQI+ in terms of ‘choice,’ or a ‘lifestyle. ‘”

Isn’t the fact that your government is looking out for your interests and those of loved ones reassuring? Let’s not be serious, but let’s take a look at the terrorist watch lists mentioned above.

In late October I reported that Customs and Border Protection agents had not only arrested the 169 illegals mentioned above, but also the number of encounters exceeded the six previous fiscal years.

It is the encounters that occur at ports themselves, not those between ports, which are most important. There were 564 encounters in total at ports. This is slightly more than the 538 that were recorded in fiscal 2019 when there were only 538.

The Terrorist Screening Dataset is now the official name of the U.S. database containing information on terrorist identities. It includes not only terrorists who are known or suspected but also their affiliates.

Even the CBP acknowledged that encounters involving errors have become “very rare”.

The CBP Agents and officers are on the front line every day, performing critical work. DHS is constantly working to secure our border through highly-trained personnel, aerial and ground monitoring systems, as well as robust intelligence and information-sharing networks.

But first, let’s get to the point. What is the use of an agency charged with protecting borders if they “misgender” illegal border crossers?
