Tucker Carlson, who launched his show Tucker last week on Twitter and has since continued to produce it despite a Fox News cease-and-desist order, posted the latest episode on Tuesday night. He spoke about the implications of President Trump’s federal indictment for our country.
“The Biden administration arrested Donald Trump this afternoon,” he began. “They had him arraigned and fingerprinted in the Miami courthouse, like the accused felon he now technically is. These were the first steps in a process that is designed to put Donald Trump behind bars for the rest of his life. Cable news carried every moment of it live. ‘It’s unprecedented,’ they told us with what looked like a shock. But they weren’t shocked; they knew this was coming. Everyone who’s paid attention knew…what just happened was always going to happen.”
Tucker explained to the audience that Trump’s arrest was inevitable on Feb. 16, 2016, because he had condemned the federal government for its war-making propensity. Tucker also explained that wars were a common occurrence and that both parties initially supported them. Politicians only apologize after a period of time. Trump was an outsider and therefore he could disregard the rule. He attacked the Iraq War during the Republican Primary Debate held in Greenville, S.C.
Trump said during the debate, “We shouldn’t have been in Iraq.” “We’ve destabilized the Middle East. ” They lied. ”
Tucker pointed out how many Republican primary candidates were already on board with Trump when he made his statement. Trump sealed the deal by saying that everyone knew that there were no weapons. The accusation was leveled at too many people, on both sides. Carlson said that Trump’s ex-allies have turned against him due to the classified documents. Mike Pompeo was Trump’s former CIA director and Secretary of State.
Tucker replied, “What an egregious lie. ” “Mike Pompeo knows that this is a blatant lie.”
Tucker stated, “And by the way, COVID regulations are not designed to protect you from illness, nor is any of this legislation designed to do so.”
Tucker said, “The prosecution of Donald Trump is clearly political.” Joe Biden is his biggest political rival. Joe Biden, who has more than 60% of Republican votes in his favor at the moment, has used law enforcement against his main rival. This is what’s happening right now. Whoever denies this is lying. Anyone who denies that this is happening is lying.
Trump said, “Whatever your opinion of him, he has the best chance at winning the election and is one of the few who will challenge Washington’s war agenda. The aim is to eliminate Trump before you vote.
Tucker said that the “destructiveness of our democracy” should be a concern to everyone, regardless of whether they support Trump.
Tucker said, “The destruction is what should keep you up at night.” “Trump is flawed, but his sins are nothing compared to those of his persecutors. ”
