GOP Congresswoman Accuses NY Judge of Bias Against Trump in Civil Case

Elise Stefanik is a congresswoman who represents the New York District. She filed a formal complaint against Judge Arthur Engoron on Friday. She claimed “inappropriate bias and judicial intemperance” in a civil suit in New York brought against Donald Trump, the former president.

Rep. Stefanik said:

This letter is to express my deep concern about the bias and intemperance of Judge Arthur F. Engoron, who acted inappropriately during the New York lawsuit brought against President Donald J. Trump and the Trump Organization. Judge Engoron is not respectful of the defendant’s rights to a fair and just trial. The judicial system appears to have been politicized so as to influence the outcome.

Simple: Judge Engoron showed a clear bias towards the defendant and violated several New York Code of Judicial Conduct rules.

At the end of her speech, the Congresswoman made a great point:

This is more important than Donald J. Trump. Imagine the damage Judge Engoron can do to New Yorkers, including the livelihoods and businesses of their employees, and themselves, if New York Judges do not approve of their political views. This Commission cannot allow it to continue.

It’s important to remember that Judge Engoron fined President Trump $5,000 for violating a gag rule. During the proceedings, Judge Engoron displayed an open hostility towards Trump and his legal team.

The former President Trump is still rising, and he is leading Biden by a very small margin in the RealClearPolitics Average. In addition, he is leading in many states where Biden will be running for president in 2020. He also has a big lead in Republican primary polls. As of this moment, no votes have been cast in the primary elections. Trump is clearly on the rise in the Republican primary polls.

This old saying, “Trump won the election because of the lawfare trial,” is also true. But I would like to apply it to the Democratic Party. If you wish for something, it might come true.
