Israeli authorities say that an attack in Tel Aviv has injured multiple people after a car rammed into a group of people.
Police say the attack occurred on Friday. Authorities say the car that hit a group of people near Tel Aviv’s seaside park and then flipped over caused the accident. Police shot the driver of the vehicle.
According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, it was a terrorist attack.
Israel’s rescue services described Friday’s incident as a shooting attack.
Hamas described the Tel Aviv attack as a positive response to Israel’s “crimes versus Al-Aqsa Mosque, worshippers”
This attack occurs at a time when tensions between Israel & Hamas are rising and the Jewish Passover has just begun on Wednesday. Ramadan, the holy month of Islam, is also ongoing.
