Who Are The Two Israeli Hostages Released On Monday?

Officials say that Hamas terrorists released two Israeli hostages, Yocheved Lifshitz and Nurit Cooper. Both women are 85 years old.

The two women were taken from their homes in Kibbutz NIR Oz on 7 October. The two women’s husbands, Amiram Cooper and Oded Lifshitz, are still being held hostage.

According to a press release from the Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israel Defense Forces acted in “all channels” to “overcome many obstacles Hamas laid” and ensure women’s freedom.

The statement said, “After being transferred to IDF hands, they are now making their way to an Israeli medical center that is ready for them. Their family members will be waiting to receive them.” “We thank Egypt and the Red Cross, who played a vital role in saving lives.”

In a press release, Netanyahu said that the IDF, the government of Israel, and security agencies will do everything possible to find all missing people and bring all hostages home.
