White House Falsifies the Official Transcript of Jill Biden’s Gaffe-Fest Taco Remarks

It looks like the White House is back at it again, falsifying historical records and transcripts of Joe Biden’s statements.

Joe Biden seemed to be having a Ron Burgundy moment on July 8 as he spoke about his abortion executive orders. He was reading the teleprompter and then said “End quote.” Repeat the line.” Emilie Simons (White House Assistant Press Secretary) insists on Twitter that Biden said “Let me reiterate the line”, although this was not true, considering the video of the event. After Simons had said that, the official White House transcript incorrectly stated that Biden said “let me”, when he hadn’t.

Politifact appeared to be interfering with the White House, even though they acknowledged that Biden did not say it on video.

Politifact also claimed that Biden used the phrase “let me” elsewhere in his speech. So? That’s not what I think it means. In this instance, he didn’t say it. Politifact also noted that the White House had shown them a teleprompter transcript that contained the phrase “let me.” I don’t think I would trust any “file” they show me that has been altered given the fact that it was falsified.

The bottom line? The media should call it out, and not try to softball it.

We now have a case to address the Biden team’s falsification of the transcript.

We reported Monday on Jill Biden’s gaffe-fest remarks at the “LatinX Inclusion” luncheon at UnidosUS 2022 Annual Conference, San Antonio. We reported the following comment she made during her remarks.

Jill stated, “But we cannot get those things ourselves.” “Raul helped to build this organization by understanding that the diversity in this community, as distinct as the Bronx bogies (sic), as beautiful as the flowers of Miami, and as unique as San Antonio’s breakfast tacos, is your strength.”

Jill Biden’s description of “bodegas” as “bogidas”  attracted a lot of attention and mocking. It was not surprising that she was also called out by Hispanic journalists because she tried to compare Hispanics to “breakfast tacos.” This is just one example of the problems the Biden team has faced in outreach to the Hispanic population. It seems like they are trying to insult people in order to lose their votes. This golden moment from Joe is hard to forget.

Now, the official transcript of Jill Biden’s remarks at the luncheon is available. We have another problem.

Here’s the official transcript:

They say “bodegas” as “bogidas”  so once again, it appears that we are able to clean up something that isn’t even a question. We have the video, and we know what she said. She didn’t say “bodegas.”

Although I understand that Jill Biden is “She who Shall Not be Crossed”, she stated what she meant. The White House is deceiving the public by this and deceiving history when it doesn’t accurately reflect the record. They will continue to do this if it is not called out immediately. Imagine them lying about something that has been widely reported. They have no conscience, yet again.
