Speaker Johnson Publicly Releases J6 Footage, Unleashing Lefts Fury

Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House (R-La. ), released footage from Jan. 6, 2021 on Friday.

Johnson wrote on Twitter that transparency is essential to restore America’s faith and trust in their government. “This is a step in keeping the promises that I made when elected as your Speaker.”

Johnson has provided a link that will be updated continuously “with thousands of hours of footage.”

Johnson, in a tweet on X/Twitter, said: “When I ran as Speaker of the House I promised that I would make available to the American public the 44,000 hours video taken by Capitol Hill Security on January 6, 2021.” Truth and transparency are essential. We will post video footage on a public site today and add as much as we can, which is more than 40,000 minutes. A public viewing room ensures that all citizens can watch the videos in their entirety, uncensored.

Democrats have been trying to hide the footage for years, giving us only cherry-picked or altered clips. You can bet there is plenty of footage that will undermine the narrative Democrats and media have been pushing for the past two and a half years.

“This decision will provide millions of Americans, criminal defendants, public interest organizations, and the media an ability to see for themselves what happened that day, rather than having to rely upon the interpretation of a small group of government officials,” Johnson continued. “I commend Chairman Loudermilk and his team for their diligent work to ensure the thousands of hours of videos are promptly processed to be uploaded to the committee’s public website. Processing will involve blurring the faces of private citizens on the yet unreleased tapes to avoid any persons from being targeted for retaliation of any kind and segregating an estimated 5% of the videos that may involve sensitive security information related to the building architecture.”

The narrative is being destroyed by video from the Capitol.

The video below shows protestors marching calmly in the Capitol with security watching on without the slightest worry.

Another video shows Capitol Police releasing a protestor from handcuffs:

A second video shows protesters standing with Capitol Police.

Nancy Pelosi and the J6 House Select Committee did not want you to know this. This is what blows the narrative about a violent insurrection, and the so-called assault on democracy.
