The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tekashi 6ix9ine Wednesday night. His real name is Daniel Hernandez.
Hernandez, 27 years old, was arrested just after nine o’clock on an accusation of failing to appear.
He was released early Thursday morning after posting a bond of $2,000.
Local 10 News has obtained a copy of a traffic ticket that was issued on June 11, after Hernandez was stopped for allegedly speeding 136 mph on Florida’s Turnpike in a Lamborghini.
A Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped him in the northbound lane at mile marker 86.
The document also stated that the trooper cited him as not having proof of insurance or operating an unregistered car.
Hernandez was ordered to appear in court for the excessive speed citation. However, he did not attend his arraignment and a judge issued an arrest warrant.
