How Did the Pro-Palestinian ‘Insurrectionists’ on Capitol Hill Get Funding?

A group of pro-Palestinian protesters stormed the Cannon House Office Building last week to stage a demonstration in the Rotunda. The protesters had no legal rights to be inside the building, as protests are forbidden in congressional buildings. Around 300 protesters have been arrested and charged with illegally demonstrating.

IfNotNow and Jewish Voice for Peace are two groups that are “Jewish” in name only. But how Jewish are they? In reality, they are not many.

IfNotNow claims to be a Jewish group, but it does not seem to have any good relations with Jewish advocacy organizations that have existed for many years. On the other hand, JVP is not more Jewish than Joe Biden. The JVP doesn’t even claim to represent Jewish anti-Zionists. Instead, they describe themselves as “an organization influenced by Jewish values and traditions to work towards peace and justice.”

Where did these fringe groups get the funds for such a large demonstration at the Capitol Building? If you follow the money, you will find George Soros.

Mia Cathell writes for Townhall that Soros’s charitable efforts helped JVP receive several grants amounting to over $650,000. These grants financed the ‘human rights’ campaign as well as social welfare activities throughout the Middle East. According to the database of the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations, the Jewish Voice for Peace Action Incorporated, a tax-exempt 501(c3)(3), received $300,000. In 2017, the Foundation to Promote Open Society, Soros’ main grant-giving vehicle, gifted JVP $200,000.

IfNotNow has also been the beneficiary of Soros’s money. “Soros’s grant-making Foundation to Promote Open Society handed $200,000 in 2019 and another $200,000 in 2021 to the 501(c)(3) IfNotNow Education Fund for growing membership, visibility, and impact around ‘general support’ to end Israeli ‘occupation in the Middle East’ (meaning the eradication of Israel), Open Society Foundations grant records show.”

Soros-funded prosecutors weaponize justice against Trump and conservatives. It is not surprising that Soros funds civil unrest-causing organizations.
