Ghislaine Maxwell’s Lawyer May Request Sentencing Postponement Over Suicide Watch

Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer suggested that her client’s suicide watch placement might cause him to request a delay for her sentencing. The New York Post reports that her sentencing was scheduled for Monday, June 27th.

“If Ms. Maxwell continues being on suicide watch, she is prohibited from reviewing legal documents before sentencing, and becomes sleep-deprived, we will formally move on Monday for adjournment,” Attorney Bobby Sternheim wrote to the U.S. Circuit Judge Alison Nathan.

Maxwell, who is 61 years old was placed in solitary confinement by Brooklyn federal prison officials. She was also placed under a suicide watch on Friday by Brooklyn federal prison officials.

Sternheim said that her regular clothes, toothpaste, and soap, along with her papers, were taken away from her while on her suicide watch.

This is an interesting observation:

Maxwell was put on suicide watch though she “is not suicidal,” according to her attorney. A psychologist evaluated Maxwell and backed up that assessment, according to Reuters.

Um… again?

Given the, shall we say, somewhat suspicious circumstances under which Maxwell’s partner Jeffrey Epstein was murdered and committed suicide in prison, one would think that all involved would be doing everything necessary to avoid any appearance of Maxwell receiving suspect treatment. Apparently, this isn’t a priority, and all involved desperately hope the current Supreme Court stinkbomb outrage is sufficient to quell any queries.

A huge question hanging over all involved parties is why Epstein and Maxwell’s client list naming names of who visited their île de la perversion remains unavailable. Elon Musk has wondered the same.

It would seem logical to assume that there would be enough or even all conservatives on this list. This is a puzzlement.

Or, considering some of the names bandied about (*cough Bill Clinton cough*), perhaps not, as our Mike Miller detailed earlier this year.

Daily Mail reported Team Hillary had gone to “remarkable heights” to hide Slick’s sexcapades. Morally?

Never mind. The Clintons were never moral in their politics.

Anyway, now that “talk on the street” suggests two-time loser Hillary will once again attempt to scale the presidential mountain in 2024, how “unfortunate” that the issue of Willie’s relationship with his pal Epstein — and whatever it entailed — is again making headlines.

Toss in Epstein’s girl Friday Ghislaine Maxwell’s recent conviction on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to entice minors, and Prince Andrew being stripped of his military titles and official use of his “His Royal Highness” nonsense by Queen Elizabeth in light of a U.S. civil suit over sexual assault allegations with at least one minor on Epstein’s island — and this whole thing could not be more fun.
