Fetterman Remains on a Path to Recovery

John Fetterman from Pennsylvania is a Democratic Senator and he checked in at the hospital to get treatment for his depression, according to Joe Calvello.

Calvello said that “we don’t have much to update people about since we don’t really have any news except that John continues to be doing well, working alongside amazing doctors, and is on the path to recovery. Calvello stated that he still visits his family and staff every day and that Senate business is ongoing. He also said that it will take weeks for everyone to be updated. ”

Fetterman suffered a stroke in May 2022. He had a pacemaker, defibrillator, and a pacemaker installed. Fetterman has been experiencing auditory processing problems.

Fetterman was feeling lightheaded and was admitted to George Washington University Hospital at the beginning of this month. Calvello stated later that Fetterman was feeling lightheaded and that the CT, CTA, and MRI tests had concluded a stroke. Fetterman’s EEG results were normal without any evidence of seizures.

Fetterman was diagnosed immediately with clinical depression.

Gisele Fetterman was Gisele’s wife. She tweeted, “When news dropped,” that the children were not at school and media trucks circled their house. I did my best to pack them in the car and drove.

“We drove straight into … Canada (and lovely Buffalo NY),” she wrote. “We did some scary things but we did them together. We ziplined over Niagara Falls and August got stuck,” she said. “We talked about flexibility and the need to always have an open heart and an open mind,” she noted. “We also talked about how joy and fun can and must still exist, even when someone we love is in pain,” she wrote.
