Congressman Chris Pappas Hangs on With Re-election in New Hampshire

Democratic incumbent Chris Pappas managed to retain his New Hampshire seat, despite a challenge by Republican Karoline Leavitt. This was roughly 54% to Leavitt’s 46%.

This victory strengthens the party’s grip on the state that polls had initially indicated was trending towards the GOP. However, the polls did not work out and Tuesday’s victory was won by the Democrats.

Sen. Maggie Hassan joins Sen. Pappas in holding his seat.
