Democratic incumbent Chris Pappas managed to retain his New Hampshire seat, despite a challenge by Republican Karoline Leavitt. This was roughly 54% to Leavitt’s 46%.
This victory strengthens the party’s grip on the state that polls had initially indicated was trending towards the GOP. However, the polls did not work out and Tuesday’s victory was won by the Democrats.
Thank you, New Hampshire!
You sent a clear and powerful message: Granite Staters want leaders in Congress who work together to find common purpose and use common sense.
I’m honored to have earned your trust for another two years.
Now, back to work. #NHPolitics
