On Wednesday, Joe Biden gave a lengthy, awkward, and meandering press conference. It was his second press conference. He often turns his heel when he speaks and leaves the podium while reporters ask questions. They pretend that this administration is the most capable and normal in history, even though everyone knows why.
Anyone who decided that a marathon press conference should run past the president’s bedtime should be fired. This was an embarrassing failure if it was part of the new communication strategy with Biden communicating more directly with the American people. The conversation lasted nearly two hours and he appeared confused, angry, weak, and indifferent to the audience. This should make Americans nervous, and almost certainly it will also inspire our enemies. Even the White House Press Corps members other than Peter Doocy got tough during the long press conference.
Biden seems to have lost it when answering a question regarding the midterms. Biden was asked by a reporter if COVID closings could be a topic that Republicans could use to appeal to suburban voters in 2022. Many school districts in blue jurisdictions have begun to transition to virtual learning. Some cities, like Washington, D.C. have also implemented vaccine mandates for indoor venues.
Biden’s answer suggests that he may be able to understand some of the panic Democrats and their media allies have created over the past year. This encourages Democrat-run schools and cities to react in excess. It could be. Biden continued, “I mean, I hope to God they’re that, look.” Biden continued to talk for almost two minutes. Despite his incoherence, Biden seems to be able to comprehend how badly America is being gaslighted by his administration.
Biden continued after a long pause. “Maybe I am kidding, but as the time goes on, a voter who is just trying figure out how to take care, put three pieces on the table and stay safe, pay their credit or mortgage etcetera, is becoming more informed about the, umm… motives of some political players and some of those involved in the, and the, political parties.”
Biden then mused, “And they aren’t going to be so susceptible to believing some outlandish things which have been said and will continue to be said.” You can see that Biden is right. Americans are becoming more informed thanks to school curriculums that emphasize racial fundamentalism, empty store shelves, and outrageous energy costs. Gallup recently found that Americans identify as Republican at a higher percentage than ever before the 1994 Gingrich revolution.
These issues all can be attributed to Joe Biden’s policies. Inauguration Day was the day that President Trump presented Biden with a country that was set to boom economically. It was also energy-independent, had effective monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID, and was poised to expand its economy. Biden instead of riding the wave, he blew out spending and went all-in on an equity agenda. He also restricted effective COVID treatments and hampered the energy industry.
But his administration and its allies in media regularly deny what Americans see with their eyes and ears. Jen Psaki, CNN’s Don Lemon and Joy-Ann Reid, a racist MSNBC host, will all tell you that critical race theory is not taught at schools. They act as if parents don’t realize that the problem they’re complaining about isn’t Kimberly Crenshaw’s legal theory. It is instead lessons from reading and math that include the perspectives of her theories as well as those of other self-identified critic race theorists.
Psaki and corporate media repeat the same lies about job numbers, inflation and foreign policy. Team Biden is trying to convince us that the greatest threats to America are the few hundred protestors who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and the election security laws. Biden is aware that it’s not working. Biden tried to justify his low approval ratings by citing better results than Quinnipiac’s 33%. The RCP average was 40%.
Biden also dropped another bit of truth that will be trouble for Democrats in 2022 near the end of this clip. “I mean the idea that umm. [pauses, looks in the air] Americans are trying to sort out what’s true and false.” This puzzle has been ongoing for many months. The President’s approval rating is a clear indicator that they are aware that the narrative from the administration and its media allies doesn’t reflect their reality.
