AOC Pushes Debunked Conspiracies Against GOP on Colbert Show

After Cassidy Hutchinson was rushed in as a surprise witness to the Democrats’ Jan. 6 Committee hearings, their claims about President Donald Trump and the agents inside the car on January 6 were cut to pieces by media reports from Secret Service sources, as well as Tony Ornato, who she claimed she heard it from.

The Democrats keep spinning and hoping that if they keep doing this, people will believe them.

On Tuesday night, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), appeared on Stephen Colbert’s program. According to her, she felt a sense and a feeling that there were people inside during the Jan. 6 riot.

“And, we learned this week,” AOC stated, “There was one, if it wasn’t more, several members of Congress who brought in some insurrectionists in order to essentially case, uh the joint before coming in the next morning.”

This is a complete lie. This appears to refer to a debunked claim that Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R.GA) gave a tour on Jan. 5. The group visited the lawmaker in an office building, not the Capitol. Already, the Capitol Police issued a statement stating that they had found nothing suspicious and that the group never visited the Capitol. They also stated that they could not have “caused it”. AOC’s statement is not only untrue but she also expanded on it and called for “several” members of Congress, when there was no evidence.

AOC complained about the need to work with people who “know that they did what it did.” This is a lie. This was the woman who complained of the terrible trauma she experienced that day. She wasn’t at the Capitol building, but her office was about half a mile away and was not confronted by any police officers. She tries to attack the Republicans that she claims were involved in the incident, calling them “not very smart.”

Colbert replied that this was their “saving grace of malice” and that they were unintelligent. Um, Stephen? Your people were reportedly banging on the doors of members of Congress and illegally remained in the Capitol complex during the night. We won’t talk about intelligence because it would be a waste of time.

AOC did not stop there. Then she attacked the Supreme Court, claiming that it was the responsibility both of the president as well as the Congress to “check the Supreme Court’s overreach.”

She said that the SCOTUS had engaged in “overreaching” its authority by “denying any pregnant person or person who could become pregnant the civil & human rights.”

Oh, please. It’s not “overreach” if she doesn’t like the ruling. How can she fulfill her obligation to uphold the Constitution while she chants with a Revolutionary Communist member that Court is “illegitimate?” While she is making false claims about Jan. 6, she seems to not have any problem trying to undermine Supreme Court. What about “pregnant woman”? Only women can get pregnant. But she can’t tell that.

Ocasio Cortez attempted to relate some “history”, and it was a mess. Ocasio-Cortez even called Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal the “Green New Deal” and incorrectly described FDR’s attempt to expand Court to achieve the political results he desired as an overreach by the Supreme Court.

She also lied about Dobbs’ Court decision, saying Congress could codify any other cases that “the Supreme Court indicated they would threaten.” However, the Supreme Court stated that Dobbs didn’t apply to other privacy cases.

Colbert asked her if she would run for president in 2024 since there were questions about Biden.

AOC is a distraction, but you know she will do it and that there are many deluded Democrats who would vote for her. If she is the Democratic nominee against Ron DeSantis in 2024, Democrats should expect to lose by a landslide.
