Stacey Abrams is running again for governor of Georgia. She shared a photo of her visiting Glenwood Elementary School, Decatur, Ga. where she was surrounded by dozens of maskless children as she smiled and sat in front conspicuously disguised.
Decatur has a mask mandate, and Abrams proved to be a garden variety Democrat who believes rules are for everyone but her. Abrams is not the only Democrat to be photographed without a mask during similar photo ops. In November, Jill Biden, First Lady, was photographed wearing a mask while visiting an elementary school. The children were masked. California Gov. Gavin Newsom, New York Gov. Other Democrats who have ignored mask mandates include Kathy Hochul and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. This photo may prove to be even more problematic for Abrams, who eventually deleted her tweet. She is running for governor of Georgia.
Stacey Abrams would like to see Georgians with state government masks mandates. However, it seems that they won’t apply when she attends a photoshoot.
