A well-respected and experienced Texas sheriff decided that he would like to continue the “strong tradition of excellent law enforcement” in Karnes County.
Dwayne Villanueva was elected Karnes County Sheriff three times. He declared that he had switched to another party and has officially rejected the Democratic Party, and all its values.
Matt Rinaldi is the Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas. He stated that he was proud of Sheriff Villanueva joining the Republican Party.
Texas Scorecard reported that Trump’s former president and Senator John Cornyn (Republican) secured more than 75% votes in the 2020 election. Villanueva won by more than 30 points, however, despite receiving 66% of the votes as a Democrat.
Villanueva is a popular man because of his high effectiveness.

In 1993, he began his law enforcement career in Karnes County Sheriff’s Office Jailer. He was later promoted to the rank of Karnes County constable, and finally to that of sheriff.
Villanueva has a track record of being an arrest leader. He has rounded up high-profile criminals, including a serial arsonist who started over 50 fires. He has also escaped prison and dealt with drug dealers and murderers, as well as burglars.
The sheriff declared in his 2020 campaign for re-election that his office was proactive in fighting crime and hunting criminals down instead of waiting.

Villanueva is joined in Texas by other patriots and lawmen who are equally committed to maintaining law and order.
Lifelong Democrats, both Terrell County Judge Dale Carruthers and Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guivara, are both from Terrell County. Due to failed border policies by the Biden administration, they switched parties earlier in this year.
Carruthers said that she was “of a Hispanic heritage, which was prominently Democrat.” “The border chaos and all the other happenings make me realize that I must switch parties. ”
“We’re trying to protect Texas’ sovereignty.” Carruthers stated that he is a Constitutional Judge and that he and others stand by the constitution.
Guevara, who was a Democrat between 1992 and 1992, said that he used to run as a Democrat but now he is running for office as a Republican. ”
Brooks County Sheriff Benny Martinez, another Hispanic Democrat, has been fighting cartel and gang activity over many years. He also stated that the Democratic Party does not represent us. ”
Ryan Guillen, a pro-life and pro-Second Amendment state representative, announced that he would leave the Democratic Party to run for the Republican nomination in November 15, 2021.
Guillen said that his “fiscally conservative, pro-business, and pro-life values are not in line” with the Democrat Party.
