Melania Reportedly Has No Plans to Participate in Trump’s Campaign

This just got more interesting. According to a source close to Melania Trump, the former First Lady does not plan to take part in her husband’s 2024 presidential campaign. She also said that Melania lives at their Palm Beach, Florida home at Mar-a-Lago, and prefers to be alone.

People reported that Melania wanted to stay out of the spotlight after Donald’s arraignment on Tuesday regarding alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels and other investigations. The report is understandable in this respect given Melania Trump’s lack of attention throughout her husband’s political career.

People reports that the source claimed the former First Lady was:

Melania has not participated in her husband’s recent political events. She doesn’t like it. Melania can be distant and not very friendly because she just wants to be left alone.

People magazine was told by a source that Melania was upset about Trump’s alleged role in the hush money payment. This stemmed from Melania’s rumored affair with Daniels. It took place less than 4 months after Melania gave birth in 2006.

She is still angry and does not want to hear about the alleged hush-money payment. She knows who her husband is, and she keeps her life positive with her family and close friends.

Melania is a good wife and mother. She wants Barron to be as safe as possible. She is usually quiet and discreet, which has been a great asset in the scandals that have plagued her husband. This will likely continue, I believe.

Trump was arraigned last Tuesday. In his first remarks, he thanked his family and thanked them for their support in his legal battle. But he left out Melania.

I have a son who has done a fantastic job, and I also have another son who has done great work; Tiffany and Ivanka. Barron will be a great man one day. He is tall and intelligent. He is smart and tall. We are grateful for a wonderful family.

When Melania was asked to comment on the comments of the source, her office said in a statement that she would.

People should be cautious when reading stories about Mrs. Trump’s feelings, especially if they are citing any other source than Mrs. Trump.

It is often the case that sources disclose alleged conversations to the media. The question arises: Who’s telling truth and who’s lying? Although multiple quotes have been attributed to the former First Ladies, I’m not sure.

It gets even more curious:

Page Six reported that Trump made a post-arraignment plea for his wife, saying: “I really do need you.”

A source claimed that he told her, “I really need your help for this because we will be campaigning,”.” She agreed to join the team after a lengthy conversation over the weekend.”

The 52-year-old former first lady tweeted “Happy Easter!” with a photo featuring a rose.

This was her first post since Trump’s arrest.

But, let’s get back to Trump’s presidential campaign.

Here’s the deal: There are two contradictory accounts that could indicate that both are true. It is reasonable to assume that the People account was correct. Trump then made it clear to Melania that she must change her mind. It will come down to whether she runs for Donald Trump or not. Only time will tell.

In a similar story, my colleague Duke reported that Ivanka Trump Kushner, Ivanka’s daughter, posted an Instagram message following her father’s indictment. She claimed she was “pained” by the events:

I love my father and I love my country. Today, I feel deeply sorry for them both. I am grateful for the support and concern expressed by all political parties.

“Pained” in what way? Ivanka’s indifferent response, with no speculation about Donald’s innocence and guilt, suggests that “pained” could be used in many different ways. Maybe that was the intention of the former First Daughter.

Ivanka also stated in November that she didn’t intend to get involved with Trump’s campaign.

I love my dad very much. This time, I will prioritize my children and the private lives we create as a family. I don’t plan to get involved in politics.

Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, was a senior White House advisor to Trump for his four-year tenure. They also assisted Trump’s campaigns in 2016 and 2020.

As we reported in December, Jared said: “Look, I’m out. I’m really out.” An insider explained to The New York Post in November:

Both feel that they were burned in Washington, and don’t want their children and themselves to be exposed to yet another bitter campaign.

One might imagine.

Conclusion:

The Melania story is a good example of her near-shunning of the spotlight during Donald’s presidency. However, it does not necessarily mean she disagrees with his decision.

However, it is not surprising that she would hate the idea, considering the drama surrounding her husband, much of which was self-inflicted. It is not surprising that Jared and Ivanka do not want to be involved in the third Trump campaign.
